The Ides of March have come and gone, and my blog remains recipe-less. In all honesty, I do have a new recipe coming up (rhyming with Branola), and the photos have been sitting in my drafts folder for weeks and weeks with a good few inches of dust over them. I promise. I will get to them. Soon.
Anyhoo, a quick update on what’s been happening (apart from Stella):
- a watercolour painting workshop by Naiise (with surprise encounters)
- lucky ticket wins
- a new mate after my own heart (it was meant to be)
- new glasses (that I never thought I’d ever wear)
and above all,
- an undercut. My punk side is emerging.
Anyway, in a bid to put on a façade that I am actively online, here are some scraps of the internet that I’ve pulled together into this meagre excuse for an article. Enjoy.
#1 This totally explains why I ended up with such a small nose.
#2 I strongly decry the traditional notion of hygge. This one’s better, and to everyone cooped up thanks to Stella: its for you.
#3 Lucky Peach hasn’t folded up yet, but I’m already crying thanks to this article. From laughter. And a teensy bit of sadness.
#4 This is probably the most legitimate and truthful clickbait. Ever.
#5 Pi Day is over, but it’s never too late to make pie (or watch kids eating them).
#6 Every recipe roundup isn’t complete without an ode to breakfast for dinner. Breakfastarians unite.
PS to everyone who’s got a snow day – y’all are so. Damn. Lucky.
