Hello everyone - hardly believe that it's a couple more days till 2016. I've been quite preoccupied of late, so a few quick words about this month's interviewee.
Carmen's from Vancouver, Canada, and for those of you who are unfamiliar with her, she takes the most amazing + minimalistic + well-styled images with fabulous white balance which are found on her insta (@cahmun). (Am I raving?)

My mornings typically start at
my internal alarm always decides it’s a good idea to wake me up around 9:15am every morning, with no regards to what time i slept at. I try to go back to sleep if I have nothing planned that afternoon and sleep till whenever, or lay in bed till I want to get up.
potty time while checking social media and emails heh (I know you do this too!). Brush my teeth, wash my face, and then breakfast. Unless I have school or work that day, in which I bolt out the door and book it to the bus stop. I usually forget something and have to double back.
And a breakfast of
whatever I have on hand in the fridge and pantry for that week. The usual suspects are oatmeal or greek yogurt with granola and fruit, or avocado toast with eggs. I will make pancakes if I have time to stand in the kitchen and watch something cook. Sometimes I’ll dump random things into the blender and make a smoothie so nothing goes to waste that week.
They typically consist of
school or work. I’ll head to the gym after my first meal if I have nothing planned. I powerlift so I schedule my day around when I’ll workout so I have energy to move around some heavy-ass weights (don’t come to me when you need advice on how to prioritize). Afterwards I’ll laze around, surf the web, watch some tv shows, and procrastinate.
I’m usually in
clothes comfortable enough to workout in or my pjs. My wardrobe palette is pretty bleek—black, white, or grey—and half of it is also from lululemon. Currently, my eskimo outfit always includes a thick sweater, a burberry scarf or cape, wool socks, and some leather boots.
At night, the first thing i do to get ready for bed is
one last scroll through social media, and reply to some last messages. I try to take a screen break before heading to bed.
And i can’t sleep without
showering. Always. Even if it’s 5am and I come home drunk, i will not sleep without it.
